How did you and your husband meet?

We met at a bar in Barangaroo through mutual friends and hit it off from the moment we started talking. In fact, that exact night Mark asked me “when I wanted to get married to him”! I was a little bit blown away at the time and jokingly responded “when I’m 25”. We ended up getting married 2 months prior to me turning 25!

How did he propose?

I was on a family trip in Europe and at dinner one night in Paris, I was given the shock of my life. Upon entering the dinner venue, I was absolutely stunned too see Mark standing there surrounded by flowers and candles, with the most incredible view of the Effiel Tower right behind him. I didn’t even know Mark was in Paris let alone expect him to propose in the most magical city! This was a moment I will hold onto forever.

What was your vision for your wedding day?

Our vision for the wedding was centred on the Church venue being St Mary’s Cathedral, once we managed to lock in the church on an appropriate date and time, the rest of the fairytale came to life.

What was your inspiration for your dress?

MY DRESS.

Where did you look for your wedding inspiration?

Wedding decor inspiration largely came from online. However, we had a pretty clear idea on the look we were hoping for and stuck to that throughout the whole wedding process.

What drew you to choose ImageHaus for your photography?

Photos tell a thousand words, and every photo Imagehaus takes speaks of the moment and the love of the couple. We didn’t just want photos, we wanted our fairytale, our love and all our families emotion captured forever which Imagehaus delivered and far more!

What was your wedding planning journey like for you? How far out did you start planning?

We started planning our wedding approximately, one year in advance. Once we had the church and venue align on the right date, it was fairly smooth sailing after that!

What was the highlight of your wedding day for you?

There were so many highlights from the beautiful day, however walking down the aisle of St Mary’s Cathedral hand in hand with my father and approaching Mark, is definitely one of my favourite moments of the day. Such a symbolic and emotional experience, but a beautiful one! The moment mark and I saw each other for first time that day is a moment that will be engraved in our hearts forever.

Is there anything you would do differently?

Nothing at all.

Is there any advice you would give other ImageHaus brides?

Take in every moment, and be as present as possible on the day. It will be the most incredible day of your life, and know Henryk and the Imagehaus team will capture the moments incredibly!
